Naming rights were finalized to change the Urban Plains Center to the Scheels Arena. The building, a 5,000 seat arena located in the Urban Plains Development is home to the Fargo Force, Fargo high school hockey and many other special events. The area’s biggest name in health care just got smaller as Sanford Health & MeritCare simplified its name to Sanford Health.

After months of discussion and community input, West Fargo’s chamber of commerce will officially join the Fargo-Moorhead chamber on Sept. 1.
