Starion Financial’s building is nearing completion on 45th Street. Starion is a $680 million banking organization, giving customers global spending and money management power. In 1969, they purchased a bank that had been a cornerstone of the Oakes business community since 1886, when Dakota was still a territory. The organization bought its Ellendale bank in 1970, and stayed in those two markets for 20 years before expanding to Bismarck and Mandan. In 2006, Starion added locations in Madison, Wisconsin, and  proudly began serving Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo in March 2008.
