FARGO – Forbes.com has ranked the city of Fargo ninth among 184 cities in its “Best Small Places for Business and Careers.”
The Forbes ranking looks at metropolitan areas with populations of 245,000 or less.
Sioux Falls, S.D., topped the list, followed by Iowa City, Iowa. Bismarck was ranked fourth.
Fargo ranked 95th in cost of doing business, 54th for projected job growth and 16th in educational attainment.
The report listed Fargo’s median household income at $49,187 and median home price at $140,100.
