The numbers are in and Fargo is one of the least expensive cities in the country. With 315 cities participating in the 3rd quarter this year, the 2009 ACCRA Cost of Living Index places Fargo as 8.6% below the national average. The composite index is based on six components – housing, utilities, grocery items, transportation, health care and miscellaneous goods and services.
